New to the board here. Currently dont own a mz3, but I am interested in getting one soon (going for some test drives at richmond auto mall after lunch this weekend). Currently, Im driving a modded 2000 Acura 1.6EL planning to keep it and get another. Probably looking at the GT sedan with all options. I think it is a good deal for a price in the mid 20's with loaded options. Was considering getting a 06 CSX but not digging the price at all (30K).
Anyways, hopefully looking forward towards a mz3. Let you guys know soon!!

Thanks for the warm welcome. So what are the differences between a 2006/2005 besides the 5AT / LED ? 5AT is definitely nice to have.

5AT is a definite nice to have if you are going auto.
The LED brake lights are awesome if you are going hatch.
Beside, I believe there is also a trip computer with outdoor temperature display. Another nice to have.
There is also a new colour for 2006 - Pearl White (or sth like that). It's a $200 option but I think it's a nice colour.

btw since u are lookin into gettin a sedan, there are no led taillights for it.. aftermarket support seems to favor the wagon so if you're looking for that.. if not good choice on the sexier of the two ;P *runs and hides from the hatch owners*

w2k, please ignore the sedan v. hatch war monger who posted above me ;-). Pearl white is a colour which I had wished they had offered when I purchased mine. Honestly - you have chosen a great car - if you have had an opportunity to read some of the threads on this website, all (let me please stress that the all includes both hatch and sedan owners) are all pleased with our purchase!
Welcome to the site!

Arctic white is just straight white. Pearl white has a pearl effect.

oh just read up on the problems that we all commonly share.. some may be fixed for the 06, just search around.. the problems are common for the wagon and the sedan both so just to let you have a heads up. my pet peeve about the car is that the plastics in the interior are easily scuffed, kinda annoys me. then 2nd would be rear brake dust, and then squeeling noises from the rear brake pads. Others have had problems with a loud rattling glove box, etc. btw our cars have WEAK ASS ac systems, although supposedly 06 is supposed to be better? no idea oh and our ever so embarassing horns

Don't know about the glove box rattle, never had any myself. Plastic scuffing, yeah it does scuff easily, but I haven't had a real big problem with it. And the horn? I took care of that myself.

Thanks for the welcome guys. No aftermarket support for sedans is ok with me I don't plan on modding it since my EL is already modded (keeping it). It is nice to drive aorund sometimes without worrying about potholes, speedbumps, loud exhaust, etc Going back for a test drive tomorrow, and if things go well, most likely will be paying for it tomorrow. cheers! This site is great, seems like a lot of people on compared to my clubel site.
