Yea diesel would be nice if diesel were actually cheap here. Although i never keep track of diesel price, but once i saw that diesel was actally more expensive than regular 87 octane. Sad

One more (+) for diesel cars is that the engine consume less fuel per Km, compared to gas engine.

The new diesel car are very safe, first of all no significant fumes get in as cars are much more well insulated from the outside environment and secondly, the automakers have mastered the technology for cleaning exhaust fumes. So now i dont think there are any significant risks as there were with older diesel models.

That is exactly what I was thinking of, take for example (I don?t know if u guyz got it there) the toyota Avensis, they put a diesel engine in it (it?s called clean power diesel) that thing kicks out 170 horsepower, and it?s cleaner than e petrol engine! figure that out!

You could also convert your diesel to run on bio diesel. Apparently it smells like french fries. Grin
