^ both serve small servings but pho hoa opens til 4am.

Lan Pho No. 3 and Granville (accross from city hall)
One accross from No3 rd Save-on food, next to Nando Chicken
Saba and buswell (very poor service but good food)

I personally like Lan the most.....

For those who have never tried it, the Vietnamese subs / sandwiches are an excellent alternative to the usual subs / sandwiches.

Yummm.... making me feel hungry...

I used to love Lan as well ... go there so often.

Then one time, we got the table that was closest to the kitchen and it had a view of behind the counter where they prepare drinks etc etc.

Lets just say, I never went back ... but for those who still love it, I'm not gonna ruin it for you guys!

I've been going to different places recently, Cao Van, this new place opened Saigon Garden or something ... its behind Hot Shots and the Penzoil oil change place on Garden City.  It got to the be cleanest Vietnamese place I've ever been to ... the food is average, but the place is comfortable to be in

I've been behind the counter and I take it fine.....if you visit most kitchen, it won't be pretty.

my rule of thumb is if you don't see it, it's clean. Wink
