It's been on and off since yesterday. The non-forum pages don't even load sometimes. Can't seem to access the db server properly either. My biggest suspicion as of now is DNS failures.
I'll keep you posted.

Just at first glance, we have 3 name servers registered... ns1, ns2 and ns3.dreamhost.com
It seems that only ns1 is responding for our domain, which means that 2/3 of the time, we have to fail an NS request before it would go through on the one that works.
Might want to talk to the hosting company, and either get them to fix that, or remove the non-functioning name servers from our list.
I work a lot with DNS servers, so if you need help troubleshooting or anything, drop me a PM.
EDIT: I take it back... all three nameservers are working, but they all seem to be sporadic. I've had a ton of failures from all three... more from ns2 and ns3... but ns1 seems to fail sometimes too.

That seems like it. When ns1 fails, the other doesn't kick in automatically as usual. That's probably what causes the delay.
What bothers me is that, we usually get a notification from the host when there's an outage. This time we haven't got any, so I'm wondering whether this is just us, or the rest of the clients are having the same problem too.

I haven't noticed any poblems with my hosting, also using the same nameservers as bcmazda3. I don't think Vic has had any problems either. But the load on our sites is nowhere what bcmazda3 probably draws. But still, I have tried loading up my website and Vic's while bcmazda3 is down and it seems to work okay.

Today has been good. Maybe just some hiccups from when they were doing the server upgrade.

Just experienced another hiccup today around 6:30pm or so.? Both the home page and the forum were down for about 30 to 45 minutes?

It's been really the shits the last hour. OMG, I havent seen it this bad before. Pinging was very good. Only 2 lost packets during 45 minutes. It appears to be a local problem on this website?

I think the forums should be put into hybernation mode and once the problem is identified and a resloution is found , wake it back up.
There is really no point continuing it as it is right now. It won't be long that the members will get so frustrated that they can't access the site, that they will abondon it all together.
Just my 1/2 cents.

That's not the issue. Our test forum hosted on the same server is using the upgraded version and it also has the same problem.

Btw, the site has been fine for the last 24 hours (I think).
Let me know if there's any problem.
