BCMazda3 Forum Rules and Policies - v3.00

Welcome to the BCMazda3 Forums, online community for Mazda3 owners in British Columbia.

In order to maintain a healthy and enjoyable atmosphere, we'd appreciate it if users would kindly co-operate with the following guidelines.  These guidelines are in place to ensure that this forum remains a pleasant and informative site to visit, and to prevent unnecessary conflicts.

By registering with BC Mazda3 Forums, you agree to the following guidelines and policies.

Profile, Avatar, Signature, and Account:

• Maximum avatar size: 125x125 pixels.
• Maximum signature size: 5 lines of text or 500x100 pixels of graphics.
• Explicit advertising in signatures is not allowed.
• Multiple accounts (Alternet Ego) are not allowed.
• Misleading registrations (unauthorized use of company names, etc) are prohibited.
• Not-Safe-For-Work (NSFW) and offensive materials are not permitted in profiles, avatars, and signatures.

Posting:

I. Potentially inflammatory discussions or comments regarding social issues
These include, but are not limited to, topics such as racism, sexism, religion, xenophobia or homosexuality.  Posts containing such comments will be removed without warning.

II. Crude, derogatory, inappropriate, or disrespectful remarks aimed at any individual(s)
Offensive or unnecessarily abrasive comments directed at any individual are not tolerated in any form.  These include anything from personal vendettas to unnecessarily insulting comments directed at any individual.  Critiques should not include unnecessarily derogatory remarks in any form.  Whether made metaphorically, or otherwise, any personal defamatory remarks directed at any individual(s) are unacceptable.

III. Hate speech
Derogatory, anti-social, or inflammatory remarks aimed at any group of people, with the intention to incite a mass response, are not only a crime in most countries, but are also totally unacceptable here.

IV. Pornography and unnecessarily violent, crude, or obscene imagery
Images or animations depicting blatantly pornographic acts including intercourse, masturbation, bestiality or abuse, links to pornographic sites, and scenes depicting themes such as rape, or any other brutality will not be tolerated under any circumstances.

V. Racial slurs
No matter how amusing some people might find them, most users consider jokes, or underhanded comments, directed at any race or culture highly offensive.

VI. Spamming
Blatant spamming will be removed.

VII. Advertising
Advertising or selling any kind of products for commercial purposes is not allowed.  If you are interested in advertising, contact the Administrator.

VII. Off-Topic
Off-topic and non-related posts will be removed, in most cases, without warning.


General Notes:

• Posts containing subject matter as listed above will be removed in all cases, and should the author of such posts persist in posting such matter, that user will no longer be allowed to post on the forums.  We reserve the right to ban any user, at any time, and for any reason.

• We request that all users remain, at all times, respectful and courteous towards all other members of the forum.

• Should a user have any problems or issues regarding any subject on the forum or the acts of any other user, they are encouraged to contact one of the Administrators or Moderators who will attend to the matter.

• Note that any user that does not abide with this policy may result in the loss of posting priviledges and possible loss of user's forum account.

• Finally, any abuse towards our staff and/or management will result in immediate suspension of your account.

We believe that these guidelines are fair and acceptable, and that all users should respect our reasons for keeping them in place.  The Administrators and Moderators are not there to police everyone, but rather to protect users from offensive or unlawful content.
