I've already planned to take Friday and Monday off. Should be a fun trip.
I think we're gonna turn it into a 3 day trip. Anybody who just wants to go shopping in Portland should cruise along with us too.

Four tanks of gas ~$160 (My milage sucks yes, but should be better cruising on the highway.) Two nights accomodation ~$150 (I have no idea really, just my guess... We can probably room up and get cheaper rates?) Food ~$100 (3 meals a day, $10 a meal. But food is cheaper in the states.) So like $400? Anybody else please put their input on this, because these are just my guesses, especially accomodation. And I usually leave quite a bit of breathing room in my estimations. I like to play it safe. Also, we're going as a group so if anything happens, don't worry we won't desert you. Well maybe Kevin. |

I think your estimation is on the high side :-s.
I would say max 3 tanks of gas (remember, we are travelling on the highway, thus MPG would be better.
Accomodation costs we could share so I think $75/night is high. $10 a meal is high too... that would be if we were dining in... everywhere.
Anyways, $400 if you REALLY wanna be safe. I think I could swing the whole thing in $300.

you can come with us to portland lol ya derricks estimate is a bit high, expect between 60 per night.. and thats if we get our own rooms, we can also share a room thus reducing costs.. all sorts of little things here and there. but mind you, since you're in portland you might end up spending a few bills there too lol |
