You should just say that corksport is in Vancouver Grin

I've never been to a White Castle before but I've joke around with a buddy before about doing a Harold and Kumar-type of trip to In-N-Out burgers (speaking of tasty burgers...)

Some thoughts:

- The drive up to Mt St Helen's is incredible. Smooth, almost glass-like roads with long sweeping bends and views of the horizon. You can really haul a quick pace up for the 40ish mile stretch off I-5. I would LOVE to do it again.

- There is so much beautiful scenery there, really awe-inspiring. I wish we could have stayed longer than we did. Mt St Helen's was surreal. Seemingly so far in the distance, all the vegetation around you is gone. That's how far reaching the volcano was. I can't begin to explain it. The Oregon Coast was surreal. Sandy beaches, crashing waves. Cannon Beach is really a nice quiet place to go. Much like White Rock, but with a better beach. Get a room on the coast, you won't regret it.

- Derrick snores, Ben snores, I snore, Nick snores. I hope Barb & Angie got some rest around us.

- Walkie talkies make the ride so much more enjoyable. Thanks to Derrick for supplying units for Ben and I. I realized they are a must considernig how dense traffic is in on the I-5 and how easy it is to fall behind the pace. Mind you, Derrick did a fantastic job of keeping up the rear.

- The roads, signage & drivers are far better south of the border. "Stay Right unless Passing". That about sums it up right there. 95% of people know to move the heck out of the way when someone is coming up behind them fast, and we were usually that fast group.

- Jack in the Box was good, cheap too. The outlet stores were so/so. Some good stuff, some was meh.

- I love trance music now. Thanks Ben!!!

- The meet itself was OK. We didn't really hang around for the whole of it. It was hard getting to know people because no one had name tags, and with so many people there it's hard to ask everyone their username, even though you may have spoken to them online. Great turn-out though, lots of pretty cars & spirited people. Thanks to Shayne (cloud9wa) for putting this all together. Unfortunately Shayne had a flat tire and had to leave the meet for a tire-shop. We passed him twice and didn't get to meet him once. Sorry!

I would do it all over again, as I think the others would too. We just need to plan where our next adventure is. Mazda in the Mountains anyone?
