Nice I just went there this Saturday and saw V for Vendetta.

It's nicer than the previous location, but too bad they had to raise the prices on food.  But I guess that goes with inflation!

They still have the old intermission cartoons....REMEMBER TO HONK when the weiner makes it into the bun! hahaha

Do we know what movie is playing yet?  Is it just 16 Blocks, or another one as well?

Likely 16 blocks will be the feature movie along with a 2nd movie after.

As for keeping folks warm, I've been getting a lot of PM's demanding my services... but most of them were from Absinthe. Oh well, still nice to feel wanted... <sigh>

I was going to PM you too, but decided I couldn't listen to your serenading while you keep me warm and concentrate on the movie at the same time.  So I'll prob book a time for after the movie

NO. Movie theatres survive on the concession revenue. In order to keep the Twilight around for a long time, we ask that you respect this rule. Commercial foods from other food establishments are not allowed as it hurts our sales. We are a food establishment after all. You would not bring your Wendy's food to a MacDonalds, correct? It is discourteous and hurts our business. Anyone with outside food or drinks will be asked to leave and/or denied entry. (If you bring required medical related food, fruit or prepared meals from home then we will allow that, as long as you do not use our condiments.)

I am gonna make my own food at home. Grin

Even though they say you can't bring food.  Many people do anyway.
Same with the no alcohol etc.

The food is bit more expensive than it use to be, but it's still cheaper than the theatres.

What I usually do is bring some drinks, but get their popcorn and hotdogs etc.

The showings should be 16 Blocks and V for Vendetta

What a bunch of bullsh*t.  So if I spend my money at safeway, make myself a burger at home, and bring it in a paper bag, that's okay.  But if I spend my money at McDonalds (or Wendys, or White Spot) instead, that's not OK?  Yeah, right.

That's funny, I thought people went to see movies, not eat crappy food.

The main reason to go to Wendy's or McDonalds is to get food.  The main reason to go to a movie theatre is to see a movie.  This isn't a fair comparison at all.  A better comparison would be a football game or a hockey game.  There, the prime reason for going is to see the event.  The concession is just a convenience in case you didn't bring your own food or eat in advance.

Come on kids...lets stop the bitchen......standard rules and theatres and drive inns are no outside food and booze. If want its easy enough to bring in a drink and some popcorn.
