if i buy a bag of these things, and some how find a way to hold them in the car so that it wont fly around when it drops, but still have holes for air
would that work for "purifying" the air? or does activated carbon have to be used in some special way to achieve a odour removing effect?
a box of baking soda should remove any odors.

Fish aquarium shops have it in pouches of different sizes for in filters.  Put the pouches in your vents or wherever.

Coffee powder in a can .... works with any odours !

but the thing is you need to love the coffee smell.

I bought the Escents cigarette lighter thingy and you put essential oils in it ... the heat releases the scent ... fabulous!
