Stealing cars and killing people has never been so comfortable! Cheesy

My rant: Life is a bitch.

In the past two months I've been blanketed with bad news regarding people in my past.

- Ex-gf committed suicide. (No jokes, please)
- A close high friend from high school was killed instantly when he was hit at a 4-way stop by a dump truck. The truck missed the stop.
- Another high school friend is in palliative care as a result of breast cancer. One of the most updbeat and liveliest girls I have ever met. She won't make it Sad

Life is so unpredictable. I'm sure many of you have lost loved ones and can relate similar stories. I guess it's hitting me hard, because it's the first time in my life where I've had to really confront death (outside of my grandpa). Just doesn't seem right for people my age to be passing away.

It's so disheartening to hear there's so much chaos in your life right now. My condolences Kev.

Ill keep those people in my prayers.

Its hard man at this age. It almost seems like it comes in waves. I remember 2 guys from high school that both passed away. One was in a kayaking accident and another one was hit by a train in the past few years.

It seems like a senseless waste of life.

My Grandmother has stage 4 cancer (throughout her whole body and brain), she just keeps losing a sense of reality and forgets who people are. Thats hard for me when she asks who I am.

Sorry to hear man. Ross' wife's grandmother is in the same boat. Brain cancer and now hospice care. Bah.

My condolences and prayers to all mentioned.

I have had to deal with death a lot since my early teens so I have managed to compile some decent coping skills but it is still rough to deal with, even if it is a part of life.

I hope all the families involved are able to properly grieve and mourn their loss. But we should all remember to celebrate life and achievements (as few as they may be due to some lives being cut short) and enjoy the time that we have on this planet. You only have one life so why not make the most of it?

Sorry to hear this Kev. At our age, we should be going to weddings, not funerals. I went to a friend's funeral and it changed everything. If there is one lesson to learn, it's to appreciate life, yours and those around you, more than ever. Don't take a day for granted because you never know if it's your last.

Got a call from a friend at 9:20 am.
She was in desperate need of a ride to B.C.I.T. for her exam at 10:00...
Pretty tight timing, but I got her here at 10:03 after leaving at 9:45.
Turns out her dad as well as brother left without her in the morning.  I have no problem at all helping someone who is in serious need, especially a friend.

is she hot? Tongue

OMFG... Just got an email from a friend that two of my friends were involved in a head on collision. One died, the other in critical condition. They were in a BMW 5 series, the other car was a Trailblazer. Damn... Crazy shit.
