ahhhhhhhhh bad luck is upon me
friday installed fogs - one white one yellow
saturday installed led strip - lost a socket + burnt brake bulb
sunday - went to two CT and one Rona still cant find telescopic magnet for the lost socket + bulbs were sold out @ TWO CT
today - went CT again, bought the telescopic magnet, went home and try to look for the lost socket... no success
and last wed i went to buy NYF, the total price was.....$4.44
today went to buy KFC, the total price was... $4.44
this few days were reaaaaaaaaaaally bad luck for me

Some people out there are HORRIBLE DRIVERS!!!
Today i was headed West on 41st in the furthest left lane and some Jeep decided he wanted to cut left.
He happens to decided to cut in while im RIGHT BESIDE HIM!! I could not speed up as there was a car infront, and i could not break as he would have slammed into me for sure. I had to quickly check for oncoming traffic than swerve over the center line to avoid a collision. The funny part was, this guy just kept moving into the lane, forcing me completely into the lane of oncoming traffic... Luckily it was empty, but if this were during rush hour i would have certainly been side swiped.
W T F ?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I am VERY angry!!!

Those drivers are the worse.....even if you honk, they still come into the lane.

But I was guilty of doing something stupid the other day.  I actually ran a red light.  There's construction right now on Cambie, and between 41st and 33rd, there's a light that just appears from around a curve....by the time I noticed the light, I was going too fast.  I pressed on the brake, but then realized that no one or no car was crossing...so I went through it.....

Ugh.....felt so bad afterwards...ack

Calculated risk. In that split second, you probably thought it would be safer to run the light than it was to try to stop. With construction and uncertain road conditions, I probably would have run it too. Sometimes it cannot be helped. No need to second guess yourself since what's done is done.

I was driving down 41st at the intersection of Clarendon. Black BMW X5 decides he is going to turn right onto 41st into the left lane right where I happen to be. In the opposite direction there are cars stopped making a left turn. I am forced to squeeze my parents Chevy Venture between the X5 and cars stopped making a left turn into oncoming traffic. It's a minivan so HOLY CRAP IT PLOWS. I get on the brakes and that just makes the rear end want to come around since there is n othing in the back seats and it's just all over the place. How can this situation get worse? Oh shit, there is traffic coming at me, that little slutfaced X5 driver IS STILL IN THE FUCKING LEFT LANE AND WILL NOT GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY WAY SO I CAN GET THE FUCK OUT OF THE WRONG FUCKING DIRECTION THAT LITTLE SHIT EATING MIDGET SODOMIZING MOTHERFUCKING WHORE HUMPING WART COCKED LITTLE CRACKER JACK CARPET EATING SHAFT SUCKING BITCH ASS STUPID FUCK. I slam on the brakes, lock up the tires (no ABS) cut back in behind the X5 AND NOW I AM SUPER FUCKING PISSED. I can't catch an X5 in my parents van, so I just fucking swear at that mother fucker all the way home. I cannot describe what I would have done to that bitch if I caught up to him.

I should have just let him hit me. But my reflexes wouldn't let it happen. If there was a longer line of left turners or a big rig there, I would have hit him right on the driver door. I wish that happened, he doesn't deserve to WALK much less drive.

I've let people hit me in the past. Some jackass was tailgating me in my gf's old car and I slammed on the brakes. He rammed into me and started to whine and cry about how I stopped suddenly. I told him to cry me a fucking river and give me your fucking insurance papers. The look on his face and his snot nosed little girlfriend's face was priceless.

New rant.

I loathe how people come onto these forums (and others) expecting people to give them the answers to their questions without even lifting a finger to try and find the answer themselves.

For Gods sake! There is a search function for a reason! And you don't even have to click a button to go to the search page. The field is at the top of EVERY SINGLE PAGE ON THIS HERE ENTIRE FORUM.

I don't know if these people are too lazy to type in the search (but not too lazy to type up their question in a form that would make even ESL students cry), too stupid to find it themselves, or so sheltered and spoiled all their lives that they expect us lowly members to find it for them.

Now occasionally searching can be a complex science where certain combinations of words just don't come up with what you want and that is understandable. I am usually helpful since I read or have read most every single thread on these boards so I know what to look for.

BUT the next person to ask a question where the answer to their questions is easy to find or sometimes even posted up in the same section where they post, on the same page, maybe even a post away will get themselves online castrated. Unless I am feeling nice then I just won't reply at all. Yes, I will give up my post count because you piss me off that badly.

I will not bring up any names, but some people should start watching their step. Sure, information on the internet is free, but you still have to put some effort in to find it.

You have to realize...it's growing pains with each new person. When people join a forum like this (or anywhere with useful information on it) they don't think or realize that they should search for things. Their first thought is...oh wow! people who know what is wrong with my (whatever) and how to fix it!!!!!!!! Or what's the best price to get on a Mazda 5! They don't realize that you've answered this question 100x already.

It's the same thing with the hotel industry or working in deposit assistance where I am now. People will ask you the same questions over and over and over again. Even though...their answer is right in front of them and they could've saved themself the time and trouble. But people talk for a reason and more people think it's easier and safer to ask someone than just to look up the information themselves. Even though....I'm just repeating what's said on the internet, but it doesn't matter...you are the fountain of knowledge to someone who doesn't know something. Therefore...guarantee you'll be asked.

My best suggestion would be to stop answering the question fully. If someone keeps asking then just politely say...have you checked this thread..or this site yet? It's useful information that would be a great help to you.
I guess that sounds customer servicey but you don't have to answer someone....just point them in the right direction.
