You had a good day at work today too eh?  Glad it wasn't just only me.  I'll be so glad when this week is over.  Between the Internet (Telus) going down, screwed up and incomplete mortgage instructions, wrong calculations on statements from other lawyers, screwed up title insurance policies, that took 4 tries for them to get it right, and clients leaving for Hawaii before signing documents for a transaction that was supposed to close while they're now away, I was in the mood to destroy something.  It's 2:13 am and I'm just starting to wind down.
At least it quit raining but now my two white cars are sprayed up and muddy.

The power is in your hands (and other owners). Get in the strata council, vote against the management company. Wink

lol my wife is president! We know the deal. It's just so time consuming when she is the only one working and cares.

Is Telus texting going through for you guys? None of my texts are being sent! Ugh.

I'd love to hear the stories.  A friend of mine always posts his strata letters on his facebook because neighbours are always complaining about noise.  The noise did stop when he limited friends from coming over and then he got a couple small dogs, now they complain the dogs nails walking on the laminate make too much noise.

Oh it never ends. We got a couple of folks who complain about pigeon poop and want strata approval on pigeon proofing their homes! Ya, right, like we ALL don't get pigeon poop on our balconies. Welcome to life, birds poop. It's not all year so put up with it! Cheesy

A dummy falcon or owl keeps the pigeons away.  A real falcon is even better.  Our condo in Edmonton installed an owl where the wind makes the head rotate around.  No more pigeons!  Oh yeah, I'm on the board of the condo corp.

Bought a crib bedding set for the baby in the US since stuff is way cheaper there.  Claimed it, went in to pay for it, and got nothing but trouble.  To quote the customs officer, "bringing illegal baby items into Canada is the same as smuggling cocaine" and "if we tell you it's not allowed into Canada and you say no, we will arrest you on the spot".  Thanks, power-tripper, for wasting nearly 30 minutes of my life and making me angry for another 30.  Really makes me want to claim any goods the next time I cross. Undecided

Many baby items are indeed inadmissible to Canada.

Child safety seat is one thing for sure!

OMG baby items? Those border officers scare people and make them feel like criminals. Makes you not want to travel at all.

wtf, i thought i was still under warranty to bring my car in to signature mazda to get some things checked out like squeaks in the fender, a low skid plate, excessive brake dust, for them to adjust lug torque, etc, and they told me i'm over the warranty period (by 3 months)! fuck!

i bought extended warranty but apparently it's only on the mechanical/drivetrain/transmission only; not bumper to bumper. fuck it..drove all the way there for an appt that was supposed to be at 8am...only to realize they don't even have me booked for that time!

hmmm  didn't realize that.  We bought a booster over once....

My back is getting better, Donald.  Thanks for asking.  Still can't bend over to pick things up.  But at least I can get up and sit down without too much pain.
