I hate it when at work, clients use banking terms of which they have no idea of the meaning and in turn confuses you and then in turn THEY get mad cuz you don't understand WTF they be jivin' about.

I find it a little annoying when ppl get freaked out at the sight of my 21lb pug and claim 'ARGH! he going to eat me.. ARGH!!'.. and not even exaggerating..

One more thing- I seriously despise Drama Queens.. guys or gals - sure you're having a problem, but i don't think you need EVERYONE within 300 feet to hear about it *rolls eyes* ..  Just thought about this as the gf was telling me about a DQ @ work that she wanted to bitch slap lol.. made me chuckle

this isn't a complaint but i just wanted to add it in...i think pug's are the cutest dogs ever...and there is a fat one that lives around where my ex bf lives and the thing is massive...it would take like 3 steps and then lay down and rest cuz it was so tired.......

okay now it is time for my rant....
i work at a lifeguard at the Surrey sport and leisure complex...i have been working there for five years..
i hate it when people assume that your job is so easy and all we do all day is stand there and make sure nothing happens (yes that is true we make sure ppl are safe) but then there is all the training we have to go through, we have to deal with bitchy patrons, people having sex in the changerooms, people masturating in the swiirl pool, in the river, sauna, steam room,,,etc...then we have to deal with dumb parents that thought it is okay for their 4 year old to swim alone and then start to panic and have one of us go in and get them. we have to deal with fecals(when people take a crap in the pool) we have to handle chemicals, there is a risk we could die when we go out  back to change the chlorine tanks(we use gas chlorine) very scary if you are changing one and there is a leak....RUN LIKE HELL!!!!!!
there are tons of other things we have to deal with....i personally challenge anyone that thinks lifeguarding is an easy job to try and do my job for one day ( A FRIDAY NIGHT!!!) and tell me how easy it is.

Ok my rant...I work for Safeway and every once and a while I have to go up and run a register. So you are all nice to every one, being chatty and people are just complete dicks. So of course you get to the end of the order and the customer is counting out the change, you have your hand out waiting for them to put the change in your hand to keep things going but of course, the customer is a DINK and puts it down on the freaking belt. So NOW I have to pick it up penny by freaking penny. Thanks! My hand was only beside yours while you were counting it out. I am usually a little better when the customer says sorry, I didnt see your hand or that they wernt paying attention. So in turn I take there bills and reciept and place it down on the belt so that they have to reach over and get it them selves. Then they look at you like your an idiot. Comon people, jeesus, We are already in a good mood, just trying to get you out of there a little faster so we can go do our own thing and you look at us like were the idiots. Thats my rant

When I was a young lad (18 yrs old), I got a job as a bus boy at Red Robin.  I was very excited because back then, that restaurant was kind of 'hip'.  Haha
Anyway.. I got all dressed up in my little outfit for my first shift.  I was beaming and ready to work my hardest.  Roughly 5 minutes into my shift, the manager told me to take care of the 'issue' in the mens room.  Sigh... yep.. a fully plugged toilet with water, toilet paper, and poop all over the floor. I was like in there for well over an hour and a half with a plunger and a mop... but it felt like an eternity.

This is why I work in IT now.

I knew somene like that.....I saw right through her the first time I met her.  It was painfully annoying to be in the same room as her, but at the time I couldn't do much as that biatch was my ex-gf's friend.  Secretly in my mind I was bitch slapping that so-called "friend"....hahaha.

My rant is, howcome sometimes your loved ones have to go through hell. Found out recently that my dad's brain tumour was cancerous. My mom and dad are now staying with me for 2 months while he undergo's radiation treatment. I hate to see my dad in this shape  He has worked hard his whole life, just to come to a point like this.

Thanks Leona. I know what you mean, you have to be positive and up-beat. There is going to have be lots of father and son bonding moments coming up. Can't wait to go fishing with the old man.
