A few days ago I bought a set of Niken pedals. I didn't feel 100% with the way they mounted so I took them off. I've been thinking how I'm going to use them. An unusual thing happened...I had an idea!

The existing 'dead pedal' is a piece of molded plastic under the carpet. The Niken gas pedal came with a mounting plate in which I drilled 4 holes. I used 4 - 3/4" screws (large threads to grab the plastic) to hold down the plate. I then slid the pedal on the plate and tightened the 2 hex screws. I tried to move it to see if it secure, its on there!  Wink

That looks really good. I really don't like the OEM molded plastic dead petal.

Are you going to try and find new pedals for the other two?

Eventually I will get proper fitting pedals...just have to look around and see whats out there.
