it printed computer illiustration by.........

I doubt they are re-modeling a new RX-7

plus from the auto show around the world, the new gen miata looks no where near the look of that. Even for mazdaspeed model, I doubt they will do a complete remodel of it.

i'm waiting for toyota to get their ass in gear to bring back the supra!  The supra was resurrected in the IS300.  Now the new IS has 2 new engines but nothing will ever beat the sound of a straight 6!  It's now officially dead!  Damn that 2JZ engine was wicked!

Supra will be back.  It will have either a boosted V6 or a V8.

I hope the cars are more evolutionary in styling then revolutionary <cough> BMW </cough>. The 1993 RX7 is probably one of the most beautiful car designs I have ever seen. The Supra came out about the same time with that in your face wing and bulbous rear-end. Very few cars could pull off that look but the Supra was one of them.

I remember a ride in my cousin's Supra with single turbo conversion. At first he stepped on it and I thought... umm ok, is it broken? Then the turbo spooled up and wow. Short of an airplane's take-off, I have never felt that kind of power before. Unbelievable the things that Supra motor can do. Toyota should just restyle the car and bring the 2JZ back. With it's mod potential I doubt anyone would be complaining.

^^ yep...no doubt about it...hehe I remember driving the twin turbo...now that thing took off like a bat out of hell

I also remember the ride in my friend's 93 MR2 with 276HP.  Did some mods here and there....I almost peed my pants.  The thing was like a jet taking off.

I like the AE86...yeah I was thinking about getting one as a project car.  I think my dad is gonna kill me if I ask him to help me fix up the engine....although it is a relatively easy engine to work on since it's not in the mr2.

but NA is still the way to go at the top end speed range

with large displacement, you will have top end........FI will just get you there much quicker........

and for NA, you can either increase HP or torque.........no better of both world.

but for FI, both HJP and torque goes up..........and can be tweak on the fly........

so you can have a 200whp daily driver and 300+whp and smoke some stangs, camero asses with a 4 banger.........

but like i said, FI, turbo esp

will let power come in fast, but once u're above on certain  rpm range, it will lose power

(can't hang onto the redline)

that is if you do 5th gear redline on a daily basis..........

in NA you have to shift really fast to stay in high RPM (where power is) while if you drive a turbo, you can shift like a granny and as long as you are above 3K RPM, turbo is spool ready for more......you don't even have to get to right to redline......not to mention you don't need to hang at high RPM for power.

also NA will cost a lot to gain 10 whp while FI take several hundred dollars for a boost controller...and a click of a button.....
