I failed and got myself an '04 RX-8. I had good times with my Mazda 3 for the last 8 months. I will keep checking this forum though.?  Terence |

It's very tempting. A lot of RX-8's are popping up on the used market for a decent price. Did you end up trading your 3 in or selling it privately? Curious as to how your buying/selling experience went. Finally, post up some pics. We need more RX-8's here  Kev |

It's a RX-8 buyer's market right now because of the high fuel cost. So beware of what you are getting into before considering this car. Most people in the RX8 forums are getting 17-20mpg only. For mine, I only got like 480km per tank on the highway 50L fill up.? For me, it's ok because my commute is low km. Insurance is about $250 more than the 3. Autox wise, it's probably not as good index wise because RX-8 is in B-stock vs Mazda3 is in H-Stock. It's all about how it drives and still fit my family at the same time. Terence |
