You can do that yourself or you can get someone to do it for your for $100. There are members here who have experience doing that.

Stickers you can get from member here called red raptor.

Welcome zzsoul!!

You can get some caliper paint at Canadian Tire and do it yourself. ?There is a choice of spray paint and brush-on paint. ?From what I've seen, brush-on seems to be much much easier.

Good luck!

Outside Tapioca Express?  Could've been my car that you saw.  Of course the calipers are genuine, but not the colour and the stickers Wink.  I painted those with 4 coats of VHT high heat engine enamel spray paint and 2 coats of DupliColor high heat clear coat spray.  Then slap some high heat stickers of your choice.  Yeah, everything has to be high heat resistant down there.

It's more like a DIY job.  Most of us did it ourselves.  I used to do it for members (tonyzoomzoom, vicvic, melonvitara, among others), but since I'm leaving soon, I can't offer it to you.

Btw, welcome aboard Wink

Welcome to the club.? I have a WB Sport with red Calipers.? Very easy to do.? Took me an afternoon.? Just get some jack stands take off the wheels and Paint em.? Yes, Brushing is way better and easier to do. Not much masking needed.

Caliper paint at Crappy tire for $25.00, comes with most of what you need. But you may want to buy additional paint brushes.  The one with the kit is not the best quality.

Welcome to the forums, ZoomZoomSoul.

I think these guys have covered most of it.

It is best, and fastest if you can jack your entire car up and take off all the wheels. Also give yourself an hour to paint and a few hours for it to dry. Overnight would be even better for the best results.

haha one thing these guys haven't told you about is xenonmods.com, thats where you go to find the stickers.. they have a vast array of colours for you to choose from.  I chose gold stickers to match my black calipers.  Generally most people go with White stickers/Red calipers, etc etc.  but since it's your car, u can do whatever u want..  Green stickers for purple calipers, the sky's the limit!

i think VHT is some sort of brand name (Very High Temperature?)

Do a search on the forum for caliper paint and you'll find lots of info Smiley

Mazda3 > Mazda6 Grin Grin Grin

You don't have the retaining clips on your brakes? Interesting.

Yes it is lowered, 1.75" all around.

VHT is the brand... www.speco.com.au/vht.html

If you need to get them done profesionally, just go to any body shop or paint shop.  I think they could do it for a price.

If you want a good finish, cleaning and waiting to dry will take the most time. Mine are not really glossy, I think it may be because I did not let it dry long enough.

Just so you guys know. Whenever you need to change your brake pads the paint will chip because you have to undo those clamps in order to take the calipers off ... just a heads up Wink

Also, I painted my calipers last fall and now I see that the paint is comming off ... maybe I did a bad job or maybe the Duplicolor kit is not that good? Does anybody have this flaking problem?

Unless you take the entire thing apart, clean it thorougly and then paint it, the paint will not be perfect and will not bond to the caliper completely, causing the flaking. There is not much you can do unless you take it all apart. But lasting a year is good enough. You can always patch it up, and I doubt anybody would notice.
