DAY DREAMING ABOUT MY 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

« on: August 08, 2006, 12:07:09 AM »

Hey Galz,

I thought this topic might be a good idea and we can share our beauty secrets with each other.?

Since most of us are enjoying the great sunny outdoor, my first beauty tips of the week is:

For sore tight apres-sun skin

Apply plain yogurt to the skin, leave on for ten minutes, and rinse with cool water.? Use whatever yogurt you have such as whole-milk, low fat or fat-free.
I tried this before and my skin was smooth as a baby's butt.? However, some people might/can have a reaction with milk products and not recommended for everyone.

MASCARA MOMENT:

What happens if your eyes are tearing and your mascara is running?  Next time when appling a coat of mascara, dip a Q-tip into loose powder and tip on your wet lashes.  Then apply a second coat of mascara.  This method really helps.

Not sure if you heard of a mascara brand "Kiss Me". It's from japan and works really well.

How to soothe itching from mosquito bites?

I usually try not to itch but if it's really bad.. try this... 1. mix a bit of sugar with water and put it on the bites or 2. place a chilled brewed tea bag on the bites or 3. dab of toothpaste on the bite.    These recommandation should help  : )

if you go swimming...

since you will be in chlorinated water and if you don't want to really smell like it and have it dry your skin out, put on some baby oil and will help protect your skin from the chlorine water.

for your hair in the water...lather your hair with conditioner and it will protect it from going all straw like and keep it from smelling (doesn't have to be expensive conditioner)

Did u know it is really bad if you don't take up your make up at night! Cuz while you sleep the makeup rubs and goes into ur eyes... While sleeping ur eyes may roll around or back and the make up goes to the back of ur eyeball and can get stuck! This can be harmful for you in the future.. And it also causes the black circles around ur eyes in the morning it is makeup build-up!

Great to know this  Yay.....cause i used to swim a lot...i loove to swim...but i dont like the chlorine smells stucks on my skin and...my hair too...
I hate it everytime I go to a salon...my hair stylist will said like (*with messing my hair*) "OMG your hair is sooooo dry.....you have to cut it...you HAVE to" and he starts introducing new hair products blah blah blah....lol

If you want volume to your hair, spray salt water and let it air dry.  The salt will lift your hair.

Nail Care:

If your nails are stained.  Mix 2 tablespoons of lemon juice in a cup of warm water.   Soak your nails for five minutes or longer, as needed.  Wipe vigorously with a soft cloth. This really works  : )

I took a make up course several years ago and my teacher told us the No.1 biggest mistake is putting eye shadow colours that matches your clothes.  Apparenlty, this is a big "NO NO".

If you have really dry and cracked feet....
rub vaseline on them and then put socks on and sleep with them on, when u wake up in the morning they look much better and are smoother.

Do this every night. Smiley
