Not many people have aftermarket rims on the 5, or we would know better.

The only thing we can look to is the fitment on the 3 and hope it is similiar.

From what I have seen, Mazda OEM wheels are around +50mm offset.

You also have to consider other factors like if you are going to lower the car, how large a rim you wanted to put on (18s?), how wide the rims is and tire.

I am just too lazy to try to put on my 18x7.5 rims to test. If +52.5mm offset is also used on the Mazda5 17"x7 rims, then i think 18x7.5 with +42mm offset shouldn't be a problem.

u can always take off one wheel and check the offset printed at the back
