I knocked my beloved bicycle onto my car and it gave the driver's side rear door a dent, but I was more concerned about the bike. Shortly thereafter, I was pulling into my garage and a shovel randomly tipped over onto my car. I was less concerned about the shovel than the car, though still not all that concerned. Grin

Dave, it's the McD's in Richmond across from Lansdowne.  Undecided  Let's go rip out that post.  It's right by the pay window.  (dump place to put a pole! Angry)

Vic, when I run my fingers over the scratches there are ridges.  Yes, the paint is gone in some places.  It really isn't too bad.  If you stand back you can't really notice it but all the same....my first scratch.

That drive thru is a dumb design.  They put poles there so you won't run into the restaurant.  But it's very difficult to maneover your car close enough to the pay window to pay and pick up your food without getting overly close to the poles (since you are at the corner).

I know exactly which post you're talking about. That whole parking lot/drive-thru is a terrible design. The one at #2 road and Blundell is pretty bad too.

Stop the car far away from anything and get out. That's what I do at the drive thru ATM sometimes if the regular ATM is busy.

at least you did it yourself...you can forgive yourself...what really sucks is when you have a series of chips from your car being egg'd! when someone else does it, it will never sit right in the gut!!
