I went to BCIT a few years ago (2002-2003).  I was taking the Technology Support Professional program at the downtown campus.

I went to BCIT from 1997-2001, I took one of their degree programs.? Maintaining at least a 70% average can be hard.? I found that the homework and assignments were not difficult but the fact that they cram a lot of homework and assignments on you all at once is where it gets hard to maintain a certain grade.? I had an average of 6-7 courses per semester and studied my ass off.? Some of my friends who were in certain 2-year programs had 8 courses per semester which = no life.

A buddy of mine took CIS and said he was pretty busy with homework and assignments.  Also, he said there aren't a lot of girls (actually he said there weren't any girls) that took CIS, so all day you get to see hairy, smelly guys.  Grin

I studied Electronics at the Burnaby campus for a year as a prerequisite and then studied Avionics for a year at the (old) Aerospace campus at the airport for another year. Electronics wasn't so bad in terms of homework (maybe 1-2 hours per night). But Avionics was easily 4 hours of studying per night, 5 days a week. Started at 7:30am, finished at 3:30pm, add in travel to and from the airport, studying, a part time job a night or 2 during the week and a day on the weekend, and that totals up to no life for a year lol.
