Saturday is preferred but I'm fairly flexible.  Just name the time and place.

Another suggestion would be change day / time for each meet.  We've done Saturdays, so the next meet could be on a weekday evening or on Sunday...  My $0.02

I'd say sunday evening/night..........

1. it not as crowded compare to saturday.
2. it is summer and sun doesn't go down until 10.
3. and most imporant is I will be off work at 4........Grin

or a weekday evening like 8-11 meet would be nice.

it's hard to accomodate everyone's schedule, if we arrange for a meet during the weekdays, most people may not attend due to work.  My schedule is always rotating so I don't have fixed days off.  It varies every week.  We try to schedule it on the weekend so it gives most people a chance to participate in the club events.

We'll play around with the times and see what we can do to accomodate.

we did explore having meets during the week.  It's just with work and everything there is less chance that a lot of people will come out to the meets.

I think short cruise are always nice.........

- not everyone like long cruise especially when you drive alone....FRS do help but again not everyone has them or remember to bring them.
- try to avoid crowded area like night market as we will never find a spot to park all together.
- try alternate meet time and day so members can find a way to meet up
- some sport activities are good but not too intense sport.

all in all we just need to try out different stuff here and there and find the right combo.

what about a cruise down the strip in White rock?  we won't necessarily have to park there since it's bloody hard to find parking all together and it costs money too.  Just an idea that i got when I had to go down there for dinner one night.  Perhaps we could hit a pub in town or something like that.  Just polling for ideas since tony nominated me to pick a time/place.

Crescent Road is short but has a lot of bends if we were to swing a White Rock thing. Hitting up a pub would be fun but I don't think I would be driving myself home.? Evil

Golden Ears provincial park is nice too. We could have a barbeque and perhaps Absinthe could get that swim he's been longing for. The road going up to the park is quite a hoot

Daytrip to Whistler for a bbq? That's a nice drive also. I don't know, just throwing out some ideas.

whiterock are just anal about noise.......if we cruise along without making excessive noise (no loud stereo, no revving), they are cool with it. The other time we hosted a cruise with my VAC, one got ticketed for making one chirp on his tires when pulling out of the parking lot.

white rock police/by-law officiers = strict to the book......

I guess with so many jacka$$ drive by their strip, they lose the sympathy for anyone........it was a $86 fine.......

but we went back on some other time at night.....they were kindly ask us to get going if we don't want to get tickets for unpaid meters........
