I hate those fake hood scoops.  Put a carbon fibre hood on to get rid or them.
They remind of the hood scoops rednecks put on their pickups, bwaahahaaaa.
I could live with the grill though.
Don't worry about the wheels they are 20's for the show car only.

I like it.

New coupe maybe.
As before, I think this would look great with some different type of c.f. hood.

Is it worth $2-4000 to avoid looking like a Pontiac?

I would do it.

I read that the G8 and the Solstice will no longer be produced / sold in the US after the current generation.  That leaves Pontiac with ZERO rwd cars in their line up...

That's currently a rumour/speculation, according to autoblog

I hope what I said will not come to fruition.  Otherwise, Pontiac will have lost its identity as the sportier division within GM.  Having just a bunch of rebadged Chevys is kinda meaningless

I've always liked the look of this car on the outside.  Never was a fan of Pontiac's interior.  Something...just urks me about the interior. XP

Bump from the past. I filled up gas this morning near my house and to my surprise there was a guy filling up his black G8 GT sedan. I was in the pump beside him and he acknowledge me with a "nice car" comment. I returned the favour, in obvious jealousy haha. He said so far he has done a chip and intake, and the car has dyno'd 380whp. YIKES! Even without an exhaust, the car sounds like a beast. Unreal.

To get a collector plate after 25yr, the car has to be stock. Tongue

I really hope GM will keep the G8 under other brand.

Will the manual transmission ever be available in Canada? It said a manual transmission with the more powerful 6.2L engine is available but I haven't been able to price one. If I had to buy a domestic car, this would be the one.

There's a 2-door version available here with a 6-speed and 427 bhp.  It's called the Camaro.

I'd rather have the Sedan.
