Very entertaining and outrageous.

I do like their editing and cinematography, though Clarkson can get annoying with his over-the-top power trips and flailing arms.

Top Gear is also on BBC Canada several times per weekend. Mostly repeats, but good shows.

I keep downloading the back episodes I haven't watched yet, but I never get around to watching them. And then after awhile I just delete them. LOL.

i tend to do that with 5th gear..  5th gear just doesn't do it for me, i guess it's because of their lack of humor or the hosts are just kinda gay lol.. i dunno

5th Gear went todnwhill this season. The change of hosts was for the worse as the new host tries to mimick Clarkson's outrageousness. On a pure informmational level, 5th gear was better.

Top Gear has awesome entertainment value and is IMO, the best car-related show out there.

top gear generally reviews high end performance cars, or anything with a slight bit of performance in it.
what 5th gear does, they do the whole spectrum of cars, anything from the shittiest Toyota Yago or whatever the hell that egg is called to ford GT's and such.
i find that for the most part, i really want to hear about are supercars tested to their limits, and that is what top Gear does.  i absolutely love the challenges they do too, like the aston martin vs a train, bugatti veyron vs a plane, so on and so fourth.  5th gear, in general, just seems rather ghetto to me lol.. they do do prize giveaways of cars that are featured on their show, but that's about the only thing that tops top gear

i actually never liked tiff lol, like it's true that he is an established race car driver.. but i find his commenting kinda dry, when he tries to crack a joke, you can literally tell that he tried too hard lol.
clarkson on the other hand is hilarious, having hammond and captain slow james may, those 3 are an awesome trio.. also having the stig to test their cars.  it's cheesy whenever they introduce him in the show but that's about it.

oh some of the things i liked about fifth gear was that they would go to far away countries to test drive cars, that's one thing top gear doesn't really do.  like 5th gear going to japan to test drive honda's special concept car, going to south africa to race a kit car ford gt, so on and so fourth
