hmmm 5th gear is good in the sense u actually can learn real things about the whole car spectrum... but come on u see them reading specs off sheets 1/2 the time @ least memorize them... or do audio over... the camerawork is nowhere near as fancy as topgears and the only thigh 5th gear had going for it, as stated above was Tiff which was on Top Gear originally neways...
that said... i still hate Tiff, hes a great driver with a great history but he?s brutal.. almost all races he blows a transition anyone else notice that? not to mention his comments and passive excitement put me to sleep... also the whole cast on fifth gear idolize him like god or something... and the chick (forgot her name) gained weight this season haha
top gear is the shit tho, excellent video production, great super cars (which we all wanna see anyways.. if i wanna know what a echo drives like ill go to my local dealer and try it myself), the specials they do are always a blast (such as yesterdays!) and just over all to me its the best automotive show on tv!
Btw anyone watch the last episode of fifth gear from last year (December) it friken sucked! It was just clippings of all the diff episodes.. what a waste of time..

It's good Tiff left TG long ago.
Hammond's crash reminds me of what happened to me in the Stang.
The funniest episode still (to me) is the boat-car race episode when Clarkson's Toybota sinks a few meters into winning.
For Holloween, I wanna' be the Stig. ?Afterall, his left nipple is shaped like the Nurburgring.

i think it is only 1 dude/dudette. he/she takes the same line throughout the track.
according to Clarkson, no other good driver uses the "Stig" line, except for Nigel Mansel when he drove the reasonably priced car compared to the other F1 greats.

maybe on their track... but they use the stig in alot of shows on diff racetracks and @ events which i harsh doubt its the same guy...also remember black stig :p

finally watched last sunday's show
i was pretty impressed about the rocket lol
they can actually build one in 2 weeks!
everything went well except when the shuttle wouldnt separate from the tank or wutever that is lol
then it went horribly wrong
