Anyone signed-up for this year's Sun Run?

It's exactly 8 weeks from today (on Sunday April 15, 2007).

Anyone's training for it?

Check the following link for more info: http://www.canada.com/vancouversun/sunrun/index.html

I'm going to run, but I haven't started training yet.

It could be worse.  Last year I didn't start training until mid-March.

I was just wondering...

If there's enough interest, we could create a BCMazda3 Sun Run team.  Smiley

BTW Victor, are you doing it individually, or signing-up with a team?

Nick, I did a couple of years ago with no training, albeit I was running with a nice blonde(I had someone to chase).  I made it to the finish mid-pack.  No Problem.

I'm running individually, probably with my girlfriend.  I already paid because the early-bird deadline was at the end of January.  I wouldn't mind meeting up with people on run day, but it's supremely packed and crowded.  Over fifty thousand people were there last year!

lol....i guess it's my excuse for being lazy!  i will try to make it out this year....haven't ran in so long.  I started up again last summer cause of my back and was able to tolerate it for a little bit....still working up past the 3-4mile mark.  ugh...

After the race, I'm meeting several people in the section "S."

Perhaps I'll bump into you!

 No no

its because  you're going to be a mess, that's why you have to spend extra time and effort to prepare yourself.
for example. you have to tie your hair up and not let it down cuz they'll fly all over your face.

I just want the t-shirt.

We used to joke about not getting too close to people with a Sun-Run t-shirt on; the shirt may still smell from the run!!! Cheesy

Ugh... I just went for my first run in six months last night - a mere two miles but my legs are really sore now.

It's gonna be an uphill battle to regain my endurance.

Keep working at it, Victor.  You'll regain it in no time.  Plus, you still have some time left so don't fret.  Wink

What's your goal this time around, btw?
