Well this time was disappointing.  Great day for snowshoeing though.  It was literally dumping up there.  If you stood in one spot for a min, you're covered in snow!

The conditions were crappy...save for the snow....the runs were all lumpy, and bumpy.  The powder was the usual heavy west coast powder.....flippin hard to ski in and really gives your legs a good workout.  Wish i was snowboarding, seems they were going through the stuff just peachy!

A word of caution.  If you head up there....make sure you have snow tires.  I got stuck trying to get into a parking spot.  Some dumbass couldn't decided weather he wanted to leave or stay.  Backed out and then in, then got out of his car and then pulled forward to go pull out but backed in again for no reason.  Meanwhile I come to a stop and traction sucks cause the snow was the damp soft kind and compacted really easily, thus, giving me a nice patch of ice to slip on.  After about 20mins of pushing and digging, finally got the car to move.  This was with snow tires!  When leaving, i just dug myself a path and made sure there were lumps here and there so the tires could move from side to side and away from one spot to avoid getting stuck.  I could only imagine what the stock tires would do.

This was basically the drive:

saturday was disappointing for me at seymour...it was sooo windy, they had to close the mystery chairlift...so everyone had to migrate to the lodge run, and i was trying to teach my friend how to board and she had to try and dodge others....but she managed Smiley

Veronica....I'm working the rest of the week this week (wed, thurs, fri, sat, sun) but I am planning on heading up there next week if you want to come up.  I usually go during the day or I do some night skiing as well.  Hope the conditions get better....today was a total turn off....I like the powder you get up at whistler...at least it's not as damp and much fluffier.  Much more pleasant to ski in.

I would have stipulated that had I known next Tuesday would be the day chosen Tongue LOL

I just wanted to list generally, barring any other events, when I am free. After next Tuesday I am free every night for the next 2 weeks.
