we've reached our limit for storage of attachments.

For people who have attached photos and what not, if they are fairly old and are not needed anymore, could you please remove them?  If it is part of a write up.  You can link to the images via imageshack or photobucket.

It would be easier for an Admin to go into the folder and delete old pictures.

oh lol is there a specific place to find and remove the images we've attached?  or do we have to rummage thru all the posts that we've had to find it?

I think we should be given more space. I haven't seen that many attached photos and we are already at the quota?

dmogx, try it now.  Just sorting through the pics for the time being.

You guys can help speed up the process by deleting old old attachments.  I'm just sifting through them now.

there were old pics from when the forum started up so I'm going through them.  It's mostly pics from 2005.  In terms of space, I have sent an e-mail to Absinthe about it.

If you have FTP access, you should be able to go into the folder where the pictures are kept and sort them by date. That way you can easily delete old items.

i don't need the FTP to get to the folder.  I can do it through the functions in the forum software.  The only thing that I'm concerned about is the older posts where pics were posted to reflect the content.  I'm currently looking through them right now to make sure that they're not cutting into writeups and what not.  Some have been deleted and more will be.

Space has been freed up for more attachments for anyone who has been experiencing this issue.

Thanks, Nick.  This gave me the chance to delete most of my pics.  I now have about 10 pics on this site. Thanks again.  Smiley

Sorry for the inconveniences.

Attachment folder size has been increased to 1 GB (1000000 KB).

Enjoy!
