Well thanks again Pete for hooking up my in-laws with there new Liquid-platinum CX-7 GT.
It is fawesome. I got to take it out to white rock last night and felt like a rock star. I was amazed at how quiet the interior cabin is. It far surpasses any suv x-over like the Murano, Outlander or RDX .
It rides like a luxury car but has the boost (literally) of a sports car. The seats are soo comfy, and fits 4 adults with lots of leg room to spare for everyone. It handles excellenty with almost no body roll but doesnt feel too stiff either.
AND the best part. HID's. These things are killer. They are purplish up close but light up the road 8 lanes wide with a great cutoff. I may just have to "borrow" them for my car. But in all honesty, HID's are next for my 3.
I cant say how fun it was to drive this car, and i've driven a lot of cars when i worked at mopac (ferrari 360,viper GTS,Z06,500+ WHP mustangs, camaros, Denalis, Hummers-H1 and 2) but just plain enjoyed the whole experience of being one with the CX-7.
Ill post pics later...

Sweet Todd. Need4speed echo'd your sentiments with praise for the CX-7. Post up some pics!!! I need to know what Liquid-Platinum really is because I can't actually visualize a colour for that term.

Wow sounds like I need to test drive this one day But I still like the look of RDX more. Have you test drive or sat in a RDX before? dL

I would need to save up some first...
the only other route would be to trade in both the van and the 3 to get one...

The cx-7 could have the functions and fun of both of your current vehicles..

It certainly does. That was makes it very appealing. The only short-coming is that sometimes we need two vehicles....
