2008 Mazda CX-7.
Motortrend sez "A computer reprogram moves premium gas from the required to the recommended column."
What the hell does this mean?

I prefer the RDX's interior as well. The exterior of the CX-7 is nicer though. Both have similar motors. That would be an interesting comparison.

I love Mazda's, but I'd take the RDX over the CX-7 ANY DAY.

I think the RDX has a terrible exterior. The MDX was executed better.

To me, Acura has not done enough at this point to differentiate itself from Honda. It feels like a pseudo-luxury brand. On paper it appears many of their cars have the right elements to be considered something special, but the intangible feeling is not there. I'm just not sure it's as clear cut as you make it sound. And yes, I have both an Acura and my Mazda as well as a Honda in the household. So I have some experience with all the aforementioned brands.

I test drove a TL. It really felt like a bigger Accord.

We have an '04 TL and '04 Accord in the house. The TL kind of feels like the Accord but with some more techno-gadgetry. I'm sure the Type-S is nice though.

I agree with Kev that Acura isn't a huge step away from a regular Honda. Despite being a big Honda fan, I think they've really been lazy in the last few years in introducing new and exciting vehicles. The TSX is great car, but nothing more than a rebadged Honda Accord (JDM). It certainly isn't worth the near $40K that Acura is asking for. The CSX and EL are the biggest jokes of all. $30K + for a Honda Civic? Give me a break, you don't see Lexus rebadging a Corolla with leather seats.
