Hi,
I wasn't sure if I should post this but here goes.

My Mazda5 was recently broken into using the same technique used to break in to a Mazda3 that's becoming increasingly common.

Now I have 2 dents on the driver's side door (one above and one below the door handle).

I'm not inclined to fix the door because:
a) my comprehensive deductible is fairly high
b) it'll probably happen again
c) thieves seeing the dent will think I've just been hit and will know there's nothing to steal in the car

So a heads-up to you Mazda5 owners - don't keep anything in your car.

I know it will probably sound sick and disgusting, but somehow it makes me feel better to know that we're not alone.
Am I a bad person for having such thoughts? Embarrassed

Don't think any theft occurred for him - just vandalism.

Well the theives, it cost nothing to "try" on all mazda they see parked on the road. If they get in, they be $XX richer. If they don't, they didn't lost anything.

If this is true I will contact Mazda Canada.

Both my '5 and '8 were kicked but they didn't gain entry back in last September. I thought that was "proven" it doesn't "work" on RX-8 and Mazda5.

If this really true, we shall all be alert...   Tongue Tongue Tongue

I also talked with my prof tonight about it coz I've got a presentation tonight in class.  She said there's a show on Channel 9 called "Olson On Your Side" or something similar...  If he's got reports of something wrong happened and the corporate did nothing to response or tries to hide from it, he's going to tell the public what's the problem and openly interview the involved corporation.  I think this can certainly get some media pressure on Mazda Canada to do something right and NOW...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

I've been seeing quite a few 5s with the door dent lately. I wonder if people are mistaking them for 3s.
