Alright folks, I know there are a few hardcore photographers here and some amateurs like myself. This thread is anything goes, talk about cameras, lenses, software or just post up some pics.

My toys: Canon Digital Rebel XT, kit lens, 10-22mm, and a 28mm fixed lens borrowed from Derrick.

Since Leighton mentioned CS3, is it a big difference from CS2? Also, I heard they were running a beta version at first so download is free. Is that still going on?

CS3 raw conversion has a lot more new settings compared to CS2

u can "try" it at isohunt.com or mininova.org Tongue

and i have a 30D but drooling over the 40D already Wink

it's not out yet, it's gonna replace the 30D

Dave, it really depends on how much you are willing to spend and kind of camera you are looking for (Prosumer, DSLR etc).
