Derrick should buy a BCMazda3 membership at Area27.

It's nice to have a track close by, sadly most of our events consist of exotics from our other store, sometimes I feel a little silly ripping it up with my car while getting passed by a lambo lol. I've been thinking of bucking up for the membership before it gets more expensive than it already is... Between the Mazda3 and the R1 I'd make pretty good use of it. Just trying to convince my wife lol.

I've driven my Mazdaspeed3 a couple of times at Area27. Jealous you live so close to there and that your dealer gets track days there. I've only done autox on my 2014 before getting rid of it. Third gen definitely has a huge cult following/aftermarket community

Hello from Kelowna, I have been on the facebook group for a little while, wanted to see if there was a forum and now I see there is! I'm currently running a 2014 M3s GS-CP with a few goodies on it, mainly suspension, and mostly Corksport or custom fab'd from a local shop. It's been a long haul for my little Mazda3, lots of autocross, road trips, and even a pair of track days at Area27. with 135,xxxkm it's still running like new. I've been a long time employee now for Kelowna Motors for Mazda, and I'm hoping there's actually a group of people in the Okanagan area that would want to maybe do some meets or drives. Cheers!

Welcome to the forum.  From a West-central Alberta member.  Post a picture of your 3 when you get a chance.  First upgrade would/should be to HID headlights with ballasts in the projector low beams and better high beam halogens.  Contact Autolismo, sponsor (Thomas) and check the thread(s) on lighting.  I would recommend 4300K unless you like the bluer light and more kick-back in rain, snow and foggy conditions.

Hello glad to be a part, I'm now a proud owner of a 2005 2.3l Mz 3 GT and I love it to death. I've done some exterior mods but holding back a bit. But if anybody has recommendations on anything to do please send it my way. Also I'm located in Kelowna so if there any meetup's I would love to join.
Thanks guys
